Just-published study on police expertise and the use of force
Here's a just-published study by the Polis Solutions team on police expertise and the use of force showing that experienced officers place a higher priority on force mitigation and de-escalation than novice officers in their decision-making. The results of the study suggest ways to further improve use of force training by accelerating the development of expertise in new officers. Thanks to BJA for funding this important research! Polis will use VirTra V-100 in NIJ-funded Study
