Just-published study on police expertise and the use of force
Here's a just-published study by the Polis Solutions team on police expertise and the use of force showing that experienced officers place a higher priority on force mitigation and de-escalation than novice officers in their decision-making. Polis will use VirTra V-100 in NIJ-funded Study
Researchers from Michigan State University, Wichita State University, and Polis Solutions are using VirTra's V-100 in their National Institute of Justice-funded study "Assessment of Cognitive Performance-Based Training to Improve Officer Decision-Making."
