Polis Wins BJA Award to Conduct Review of Neighborhood-based Leadership Development Efforts in Distr

On August 18, 2016, Polis Solutions received notice of an award of BJA funding to conduct a comprehensive review, at both the local and national level, of the literature, academic research, and current programming (e.g., training, curricula, and models) on building resident leadership to support community capacity to reduce crime and increase community safety in distressed and high-crime neighborhoods. After completing the review, Polis will deliver a written report and executive briefing to BJA leadership. We are honored to have been selected for this project, and to supporting BJA's efforts to empower America's distressed communities to increase public safety, reduce crime, and improve the quality of life.
